The 10 Angelou Partner organisations shared how they worked together to address all forms of abuse and meet the needs of women and girls, including those marginalised, aiming to get the best response and outcomes for survivors.

Over 5 years ago, ten organisations in Central West London came together to form a unique partnership to deliver a specialist holistic response to women and girls experiencing violence and abuse. Through working together in a coordinated community response (CCR), the Angelou Partnership aims to improve access to services and outcomes for survivors, holding perpetrators to account.

The Angelou Partnership, led by Advance, brings together the 10 organisations to:

Address all forms of violence and abuse including domestic abuse, sexual violence, harmful practices and

  • Offer specialist support to children and young people, to LBGT+ survivors and to women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
  • The Angelou Partnership is supported by three London Boroughs through joint commissioning of this Integrated VAWG Services model, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the Westminster City Council.
