Advance proudly partners with many different companies throughout a diverse range of sectors who, like us are passionate about saving and changing the lives of women and their children experiencing abuse and women in contact with the criminal justice system.
Advance reached 20 years of service in 2018, supporting women to end violence and abuse. Thousands of women every year transform their lives with our services and this positively impacts on hundreds more children too.
Our Minerva programme continued to develop and expand its services available to women and young women aged 15 years old and above, experiencing varying levels of risk across London with sentences in the community and custody.
With your help we can continue to grow and reach more women and children.

Spotlight: Fundraising partnership with Anglo-Recycling
Anglo Doorstep Collections is a UK based company that collects clothing of all kinds, as well as bed linen and other items no longer wanted or of use, such as toys, musical instruments, sports equipment and more. These items are sold in second-hand shops in the UK and in other countries as well as supporting efforts in Ukraine.
By booking a doorstep collection directly through Advance’s website the charity will gain income and help to reduce landfill of textiles and other household items that do not easily degrade, as well as reduce the vast quantities of water and CO2 used in fast fashion production. Anglo Doorstep Collections aims to return no longer needed or used items back into the economy thus reducing the demand for new items to be manufactured whilst simultaneously raising funds for charity.
Niki Scordi, CEO of Advance, said:
“A partnership that produces income for Advance so we can meet the increasing need of women and girls affected by abuse and domestic violence, and helps to reduce fashion’s footprint, supports our core values.”
Anglo Doorstep Collections commented:
“Women are an integral and essential part of our workforce, and we want to recognise this by supporting a charity that is there to help women in need. Domestic abuse is abhorrent, and we want to do our part in helping victims by supporting a charity that is on the frontline.”
Spotlight: Banijay UK and Advance create ‘I am with her’
Kate, Director of Group Communications
“We’re so glad we could provide our services on such a significant project. Bringing together production talent across the business, we worked with Advance to produce I Am With Her, a poignant film which draws attention to the diversity of cases the charity handles each year. With cases on the rise throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, we were proud to support in educating the nation on the organisation’s valuable work and providing a beacon to direct those in need of the service.”
“The opportunity to help in the best way we can has been hugely rewarding and I hope we have helped Advance reach more people in need of the incredible work that they do.”
Niki Scordi, CEO of Advance
“There has never been a greater need for increased awareness of the signs of domestic abuse. Without the fantastic support and commitment of the Banijay team this campaign would not be possible. We hope through ‘I am with her’ we can raise much-needed funds to help victims and survivors of domestic abuse and encourage communities to let women and children know that ‘you are not alone’. No-one should live in fear of being hurt at home; it should be a safe place for all.”
Advance and Banijay UK collaborated to create and launch the ‘I am with her’ film. Highlighting the stories of women and girls who experience domestic abuse and those affected by the criminal justice system, the new campaign raised awareness of the various forms of domestic abuse to trigger national recognition, support and funding for victims and survivors.
