Following on her PhD research in collaboration with the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), and the Metropolitan Police, Summer has led on multiple research and evaluation projects, including co-produced research with the University of Cambridge and University of Sheffield. Summer is experienced in creating innovative bids rooted in the needs of service users for statutory and grant funding and has successfully generated over £10 million in funding. With strong operational insight and partnership skills, Summer is committed to saving and changing women’s lives through collaboration with key stakeholders and partners.
Between 2017 – 2019, Summer served on the Board of Directors for Vision on Mission, an NGO supporting prisoners and deportees in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago. Summer previously held the position of Director of Criminal Justice Services at Advance between 2018-2022.
